As of the next hot fix for ServiceDesk Plus, the ability to scan Windows machines without an agent will be removed. All users will need to move from the agent-less method (WMI).

Desktop Central currently offers many modes of scanning, including scanning without an agent, and is easily integrated with ServiceDesk Plus. Please see here for more information.
