In June 2015 ManageEngine introduced Field & Form Rules to ServiceDesk Plus (Build 9100).  Almost two years later we are still encountering customers who are not aware of the additional functionality that this offers.

Field and Form rules enable users to manipulate Request forms elements (upon creation and update of Requests). With Field & Form Rules, you can customise Incident and Service templates to execute actions such as:

  • Disabling / Enabling fields
  • Mandating / Non-Mandating fields
  • Show / Hide fields
  • Execute custom JavaScript code which can be used to create dependency among fields, remove some of the drop down values for Requesters login, custom validation for fields during submission of Request

If you feel that this additional functionality could enhance your experience with ServiceDesk Plus, please call us on 01403 588 898 to discuss this further or email info@set3.co.uk
